From the 2nd April 2013 the British Embassy in Vientiane will be providing full consular assistance to British nationals in Laos. Therefore British nationals in Laos no longer need to contact the Australian Embassy in Vientiane or the British Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand. The Embassy can be contacted on 030-770 0000 and the Embassy's consular public counter opening hours are:
